About this siteEliotsgreen.com is designed to be a focal point for the 2000+ pupils and staff that attended Eliots Green Grammar School (EGGS), in Northolt, Middlesex, England, between 1956 and 1974. The website has been developed and maintained by Paul Gleave since 1998. Originally set up purely for the co-ordination of a large reunion that was held in 2000, it has gradually evolved into what it is today. What will you find here? Technical details for the NerdsEditing software:I don’t have the time nor the inclination to hand-code (having done it once) so I use NetObjects Fusion for editing most of these web pages. Although the code that it produces isn’t the most elegant or100% W3C compliant, it’s good enough for the purpose. Criticise me if you like, I don’t care! Hosting:The site is hosted on a Unix server. Hosting is provided by a fine outfit, NSDesign, who are based in bonny Scotland. I used to host the site via my software company but we took the decision several years ago to drop all hosting ourselves as it was diverting us from our main focus.
